Apple acquired Beddit, a developer behind a sleep tracking app back in 2017 and since that time Apple has been working to expand on this technology be filing several patents relating to the monitoring of user vital signs while sleeping. We’re not learning that an App for Apple Watch is in the works that may be a part of Apple’s overall sleep monitoring system for sometime in 2020.
