Associate – Client Development (Location: Chandigarh/NCR)

The Associate – Client Development will approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business, as well as maintaining good relationships with clients. They will also be responsible for making repeat sales to their employer’s existing customers.

Job Requirements: Key responsibilities of the Associate – Client Development shall include:

  • Research prospective clients through internet research, trade show lists, referrals, yellow pages, various professional directories and personal investigation.
  • Create and maintain accurate client data.
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Gathering market and customer information.
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
  • Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
  • Promote Citius Minds services among decision makers in US Law Firms and International Corporations.
  • Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service.
  • attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent written (email) and verbal English communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
  • Minimum 1 year international sales, or US based customer interface experience.
  • Previous working experience in selling knowledge based services like business research, IP research, data analytics, etc. to technology companies is a plus.

Eligibility Criteria:

  •  Any graduate or Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM – Any Specialization; Sales Management preferred)
  •  Working with MS Office Suite is essential.
  •  Should have knowledge / interest in KPO industry.
  •  Should have experience in sales, business development / client development, client management and client acquisition.
